AKOMA TOURS: Ghana 2011-First group of travelers with hosts, Kristen Arant (front center) and Michael Kweku Owusu (far right)

Travel. Touch. Transform.

2020 is the year to immerse in a first-time or return trip to the Motherland. Join hosts, Kristen Arant and Michael Kweku Owusu, and other travelers in an exploration of one of the most beautiful countries in Africa: Ghana. From its capital in Accra to Cape Coast and Senya Beraku, Ghana offers colorful landscapes, warm beaches, rich history, powerful art, and new friends who welcome you across the Atlantic. Traveling to and touching Ghana is an invitation to transform. Come with us.

During the AKOMA TOURS: Ghana 2017 trip, dancers perform the traditional dance Fumé Fumé.

“People are much more in tune with nature because they live on the land…eat fish and the animals around them, and use herbs as their medicines.”
